Alexander Gonzalez, Esq. is a criminal defense attorney in the Tampa and Orlando area. Mr. Gonzalez is a native of Brooklyn, New York and moved to Florida in 2015. Mr Gonzalez is a former Assistant Public Defender for the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pasco County, Florida. As an Assistant Public Defender, Mr. Gonzalez represented hundreds of clients in the New Port Richey area defending various criminal matters including domestic battery offenses, traffic cases, DUIs, thefts, drug possession, violations of probation, and more. While at the Public Defender's Office, Mr. Gonzalez developed a passion for not only active litigation and trial strategy, but more importantly, client satisfaction. Mr. Gonzalez is committed to achieving favorable results and ensuring that clients fully understand the legal process, where they are actively involved in the outcome of their case.
Mr. Gonzalez also was an Assistant State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Orange County, Florida. As a former prosecutor for the State of Florida, Mr. Gonzalez has the experience to understand the strategy and tactics that State is seeking, such as DUI, Driving While License is Suspended or Revoked, No Valid Driver's License, Battery Cases and more. Mr. Gonzalez graduated from the Western Michigan University, Thomas M. Cooley Law School with honors (Cum Laude). Mr. Gonzalez was an active member of his law school's moot court board and mock trial board, where he competed nationally for the school.
